Mrs. Ashlee Upp

I am incredibly excited to be a part of the W. Reily Brown family as the Assistant Principal. It is an honor to work with our students, staff, and families to create an environment ripe with opportunities to learn, grow, and create lasting memories together. 

 As a former Caesar Rodney School District student, I am proud that I discovered my passion for teaching during a high school service learning project within a CR classroom. After graduating high school as a Rider and earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware, I returned to the district where I have spent over 14 years as a classroom teacher, Social-Emotional Learning Coach, Achievement Liaison Teacher (ALT), and now administrator. I hold a Master’s Degree in School Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (District Leadership), and I strive to continuously grow and learn each day. 

 At W. Reily Brown, we believe in providing an environment that extends student thinking and ensures that each of our students has challenging instruction tailored to each one's academic abilities and developmental needs. We meet the children where they are and move them forward socially,  emotionally, and intellectually. As a Leader in Me school, we honor the greatness within each of our children and elevate them not only as the leaders of tomorrow but as today's leaders!
